Story
Adapted from Refik Halit Karay's novel, Today's Royalty centers on the long-established Katiboğlu family's mansion, which young millionaire Ayşen from Kayseri purchases, dramatically changing their lives. "Saraylı Bey" Ata Katiboğlu is forced to sell the mansion, and the unexpected buyer is Ayşen from Anatolia; with her arrival, a new order begins in the mansion as "today's royalty." The fall of Ata Bey and his gold-digging wife Üftade's loss of prestige turns into a dramatic class conflict, while young and innocent Ayşen, the crumbling Ata and the family's daughter Feride are at the center of events. The tension between a family losing its roots and the newly rich Ayşen is explored through themes of status, money and love. The series aired on ATV between 2013-2014.
