Nightmare House: The Wednesday Witch

Story

A psychological thriller about Sacide confronting the dark, folkloric fears of her childhood at an old house she visits with her family for vacation. Sacide moves into a mansion with her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, not realizing it is the very "Nightmare House" where the terrifying events buried in her mind took place. While she thinks the "Çarşamba Karısı" — a figure in Anatolian folklore that defiles homes and kidnaps children — is a thing of the past, this entity begins threatening her family. Sacide faces the cruel reality that this figure from the past may actually be real. A compelling film that blends Turkish folkloric horror elements with psychological suspense.
