Nightmare House: Familiar Stranger

Story

Derya (Zuhal Gencer), suffering a deep psychological breakdown due to a moment of negligence she blames for her son Murat's death, is admitted to a psychiatric hospital. After being discharged, she begins working as a real estate agent. But at a house in town known to be "haunted," she starts seeing the ghost of her dead son Murat; visiting this house every day, the boundaries between imagination and reality completely blur for Derya. Trapped in the dark depths of her own mind, Derya must ultimately confront the "familiar stranger" inside the house and reckon with the painful truth. Written by Çağan Irmak and directed by Uluç Bayraktar, this thriller was released in 2006 as part of the Nightmare House series.
